No rain, no rain

Another morning soaked in prayer and the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - as a person who is DECIDEDLY not a morning person, this seems to make mornings seem so much more full, and a little easier to cope with. ;)

After breakfast (we added refried beans to our list of breakfast goodies today!) and a few cups of coffee we were all anxious to get going. By noon, much progress had been made, and by the end of the day the mural was complete. There were a few comments made by parishioners about how beautiful and peaceful the artwork made the garden. "A perfect place to go and pray" - God is good!

House #2 just in need of a few finishing touches

House #2 is completely sided, painted, windows are in, and roof is on. Minor additions, like door locks, caulking windows, etc. will be made tomorrow. We have hopes of being done with House #2 by about noon tomorrow.

House #1 is completely framed out, and the roof is almost done! Tomorrow will consist of a lot of siding and window placement, but despite our hiccups yesterday, things seem to be pretty well on track for completion! Thanks to everyone for the prayers.

Our repair team is also right on track - needing to finish only a few things, our expected completion time is tomorrow by about noon!

Art Camp at Holy Emanuel today was another big success! more than 17 kids came and played a game where they drew faces that portrayed how unique and special we all are!

Unlike what our forecast had told us - there was no rain today! A BIG blessing that allowed us to accomplish so much! Currently the forecast for tomorrow is rain and thunderstorms - please pray that we have a nice dry day to complete our projects in a timely manner!
